If you’re a male who has, at some point, been told that you throw like a girl, we’ve got good news for you… sort of. Well, we have news. In Middle English, the word ‘girl’ referred to a child of either sex. So that’s something for all the feminists out there.
Just FYI, women are definitely not the weaker sex. They never were. And no discourse on the history of their suppression, disenfranchisement, inequality, physical and emotional subjugation, and oppression matters.
Humanity has certainly come a long way from those treacherous times. Compared to a couple of decades ago when women only felt empowered by moving ahead in a male-dominated workplace or advocating for an equal voice in politics, they are now at a place where they can empower themselves through seemingly inconsequential actions like streaming Netflix on their own to swiping left on Tinder.
What a time to be alive.
